  • Group exercise has restarted, including aqua classes. Please use the YMCA of Greater Omaha app to reserve your spot in class beginning at 5:00 pm the Thursday prior; learn more here.
  • Pools are open for lap swimming and water walking (Twin Rivers YMCA & Kirn Pool are excluded due to repairs). Bring your own towel! Please visit the Pool Schedules page to reserve your lane OR you can use the YMCA app to reserve – Click here for NEW, updated instructions.

Welcome to the Downtown YMCA

The Downtown Family YMCA has been serving the Omaha community since 1866, having occupied its current location at 430 S 20th Street since 1969. The Downtown YMCA acts as a meeting center for all people, accommodating adults and children alike. With its gymnasium, racquetball courts, cardio and weights equipment, group exercise rooms, child development center and swimming pool, the Downtown YMCA is more than a place to exercise. It’s a place to grow.

With sports leagues, swim lessons, childcare, fitness programs and much more, there’s something for every member of the family.
